Algebra, VIII, p. 8, § 1. Artinian Modules and Noetherian Modules

Let M be a left A-module with finitely generated countermodule. There exist a natural number mm and an injective AMA_M-linear mapping from (AM)s(A_M)_s to MmM^m.

Set E = EndA(M)_A(M). Let (x1,...,xm)(x_1, . . . , x_m) be a finite generating family of the E-module M. The mapping φ:a↦(ax1,...,axm)\varphi :a\mapsto (ax_1, . . . , ax_m) from (AM)s(A_M)_s to MmM^m is AMA_M-linear. Let aa be an element of AMA_M such that φ(a)=0\varphi (a) = 0. The set of elements xx of M such that ax=0ax= 0 is an E-submodule of M containing x1,...,xmx_1, . . . , x_m and is therefore equal to M, which implies a=0a= 0.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
