Algebra, VIII, p. 50, § 3. Simple Modules

Let A be a ring that has a minimal left ideal a\mathfrak{a}. Every faithful simple A-module is isomorphic to the A-module a\mathfrak{a}.

Let M be a faithful simple A-module. Let α\alpha be a nonzero element of a\mathfrak{a}. Since the A-module M is faithful, there exists an element xx of M such that αx≠0\alpha x\not= 0. The homomorphism a↦axa\mapsto ax from a\mathfrak{a} to M is then nonzero; it is therefore an isomorphism by Proposition 2 of VIII, p. 47.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
