Algebra, VIII, p. 68, § 4. Semisimple Modules

Keep the notation above, and suppose that the A-module M is semisimple. The mapping u↦h(u)u\mapsto h(u) from the right D-vector space HomA(M,S)_A(M,S) to the dual of the left D-vector space HomA(S,M)_A(S,M) is D-linear and bijective.

Let u∈u\in HomA(M,S),v∈_A(M,S),v\in HomA(S,M)_A(S,M), and d∈Dd\in D. We have

h(ud)(v)=h(d∘u)(v)=d∘u∘v=d∘(h(u)(v))=h(u)(v)d h(ud)(v) =h(d\circ u)(v) =d\circ u\circ v=d\circ (h(u)(v)) =h(u)(v)d

This proves that the mapping hh is D-linear. It is simply the mapping given by u↦u\mapsto Hom(1S,u_S, u) from HomA(M,S)_A(M,S) to HomD_D(HomA(S,M)_A(S,M), HomA(S,S)_A(S,S)). To prove that it is bijective, by Proposition 5, b) of VIII, p. 66, it suffices to treat the case when M is isotypical of type S; we can then apply the corollary of VIII, p. 65.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
