Algebra, VIII, p. 156, § 9. Radical

The radical of A is equal to the radical of the opposite ring AoA^o, that is, to the intersection of the maximal right ideals of A.

For every x∈Rx\in \mathfrak{R}(A), 1+x1 +x is invertible in the ring A, hence in the ring AoA^o. Since R(A)\mathfrak{R}(A) is a two-sided ideal of AoA^o, we have R(A)⊂R(Ao)\mathfrak{R}(A)\subset \mathfrak{R}(A^o). The equality follows by interchanging the roles of A and AoA^o.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
