Algebra, VIII, p. 162, § 9. Radical

Suppose that every finitely generated A-module has a projective cover; then the quotient A′A' of A by its radical is semisimple. Indeed, every finitely generated module over the ring A′A' is projective by the corollary. In particular, for every left ideal a\mathfrak{a} of A′A', the A′A'-module As′/aA'_s/\mathfrak{a} is projective. Our assertion then follows from Proposition 4 of VIII, p. 138.

We can give examples of a commutative ring A for which A/rA/\mathfrak{r} is semisimple and of a finitely generated A-module M that does not admit a projective cover (VIII, p. 170, Exercise 22).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
