Algebra, VIII, p. 174, § 10. Modules over an Artinian Ring

Let A be a left Artinian ring. For every A-module M, the radical of M is equal to rM\mathfrak{r}M.

The radical R(M)\mathfrak{R}(M) of M contains rM\mathfrak{r}M (VIII, p. 158, Proposition 6). Moreover, the A-module M/rMM/\mathfrak{r}M is annihilated by r\mathfrak{r}. By Proposition 2, it is therefore without radical, which implies R(M)⊂rM\mathfrak{R}(M)\subset \mathfrak{r}M (VIII, p. 152, Corollary 1, c)).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
