Algebra, VIII, p. 312, § 16. Other Descriptions of the Brauer Group

Let G1G_1 and G2G_2 be groups. Let L1L_1 and L2L_2 be Galois algebras over K with respective actions λ1:G1→\lambda_1: G_1\rightarrow AutK(L1)_K(L_1) and λ2:G2→\lambda_2: G_2\rightarrow AutK(L2)_K(L_2). Set L=L1⊗KL2,G=G1×G2L = L_1\otimes_KL_2,G = G_1\times G_2, and λ(g1,g2)=λ1(g1)⊗λ2(g2)\lambda (g_1, g_2) =\lambda_1(g_1)\otimes \lambda_2(g_2) for (g1,g2)∈G(g_1, g_2)\in G. Then the K-algebra L endowed with the action λ\lambda is a Galois algebra over K.

We reason as before, taking the following into account: If L1L_1 and L2L_2 are étale, then so is the algebra L=L1⊗KL2L = L_1\otimes_KL_2 (V, §6, No. 5, p. 32, Corollary 1), and we have the equalities

[L:K]=[L1:K][L2:K][L : K] = [L_1: K][L_2: K] and Card(G) = Card(G1_1) Card(G2_2).

Moreover, if LiGiL^{G_i}_i denotes the ring of invariants of GiG_i in LiL_i, then it follows from Lemma 11 below that L1G1⊗KL2G2L^{G_1}_1\otimes_KL^{G_2}_2 is the ring of invariants of G1×G2G_1\times G_2 in L1⊗KL2L_1\otimes_KL_2.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
