Algebra, VIII, p. 83, § 5. Commutation

Let A be a ring, and let nn be an integer ⩾0\geqslant 0. The center of Mn(A)\mathbf{M}_n(A) consists of the scalar matrices with entries in the center of A. We view AnA^n as a left Mn(A)\mathbf{M}_n(A)-module (II, §10, No. 7, p. 349). The endomorphisms of this module are the mappings x↦xax\mapsto xa, where aa runs through A.

Let M be the right A-module AdnA^n_d. It is balanced by Corollary 1. Consequently, the centers of AM,AM′A_M, A'_M, and AM′′A''_M coincide. Corollary 2 then follows from the fact that AMA_M is identified with A and AM′A'_M with Mn(A)\mathbf{M}_n(A).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
