Algebra, VIII, p. 355, § 18. Simple Algebras over a Finite Field

Let K be a finite commutative field of characteristic pp. Let nn be an integer ⩾1\geqslant 1 and (fi)i∈I(f_i)_{i\in I} a finite family of nonzero elements of K[X1,...,Xn]K[X_1, . . . ,X_n]. Denote by Z the set of elements x\mathbf{x} of KnK^n such that we have fi(x)=0f_i(\mathbf{x}) = 0 for i∈Ii\in I. If we have n>∑i∈In >\sum_{i\in I} deg(fif_i), then the cardinal of Z is divisible by pp.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
