Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VIII, § 6. Modules over a split semi-simple Lie algebra

Let V be a simple g\mathfrak{g}-module with a highest weight ω\omega, X a semi-simple g\mathfrak{g}-module, and X′X' the isotypical component of type V in X. Then X′X' is the submodule of X generated by XπωX^{\omega}_{\pi}. Its length is equal to the dimension of XπωX^{\omega}_{\pi}.

Let X′′X'' be the submodule of X generated by XπωX^{\omega}_{\pi}. It is clear that every submodule of X isomorphic to V is contained in X′′X''. Hence X′⊂X′′X'\subset X''. On the other hand, let Φ\Phi be the set of homomorphisms from the g\mathfrak{g}-module V to the g\mathfrak{g}-module X. The length of X′X' is dimkΦ(_k\Phi (Algebra, Chap. VIII, §4, no. 4), that is dimkXπω_kX^{\omega}_{\pi} (Prop. 2).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
