Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VIII, § 7. Finite dimensional modules over a split semi-simple Lie algebra

Let E,FE,F be finite dimensional simple g\mathfrak{g}-modules, with highest weights λ,μ\lambda , \mu, respectively.

(i) The component of E⊗FE\otimes F of highest weight λ+μ\lambda +\mu is a simple submodule, generated by (E⊗F)λ+μ=Eλ⊗Fμ(E\otimes F)^{\lambda+\mu}= E^{\lambda}\otimes F^\mu.

(ii) The highest weight of any simple submodule of E⊗FE\otimes F is ≤λ+μ\leq \lambda +\mu (cf. §9, Prop. 2).

If α,β∈P\alpha , \beta \in P and if Eα⊗Fβ≠0E^{\alpha}\otimes F^{\beta}\not= 0, then α≤λ\alpha \leq \lambda and β≤μ\beta \leq \mu. Consequently, (E⊗F)λ+μ(E\otimes F)^{\lambda+\mu} is equal to Eλ⊗FμE^{\lambda}\otimes F^\mu, and hence is of dimension 1, and λ+μ\lambda +\mu is the highest weight of E⊗FE\otimes F. Every non-zero element of Eλ⊗FμE^{\lambda}\otimes F^\mu is primitive. By Prop. 4 of §6, no. 2, the length of the isotypical component of E⊗FE\otimes F of highest weight λ+μ\lambda +\mu is 1.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
