Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VIII, § 11. Classes of nilpotent elements and sl2 -triplets

Assume that kk is algebraically closed and that g\mathfrak{g} is semi-simple. Let G be a group of automorphisms of g\mathfrak{g} containing Aute(g)_e(\mathfrak{g}). Let (x,h,y)(x, h, y) and (x′,h′,y′)(x', h', y') be sl2\mathfrak{s}\mathfrak{l}_2-triplets in g\mathfrak{g}. The following conditions are equivalent:

(i) hh and h′h' are G-conjugate;

(ii) (x,h,y)(x, h, y) and (x′,h′,y′)(x', h', y') are G-conjugate.

We only have to prove the implication (i) =⇒=\Rightarrow (ii), and we are reduced immediately to the case in which h=h′h=h'. Introduce g2\mathfrak{g}^2 and GhG_h as in Lemma 8. We have x∈g2x\in \mathfrak{g}^2, and [x,g0]=g2[x,\mathfrak{g}^0] =\mathfrak{g}^2 by §1, no. 2, Cor. of Prop. 2. Hence GhxG_hx contains a subset of g2\mathfrak{g}^2 that is dense and open in the Zariski topology, and so does Ghx′G_hx'. So there exists a∈Gha\in G_h such that a(x)=x′a(x) =x'. We have a(h)=ha(h) =h, and consequently a(y)=y′a(y) =y' (no. 1, Lemma 1).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
