Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter IX, § 4. Root system associated to a compact group

Let c\mathfrak{c} be the centre of gC\mathfrak{g}_{\mathbf{C}}; then c=L(C(G))(C)\mathfrak{c}= L(C(G))_{(\mathbf{C})}. We have the following relations between the diagrams of G relative to T and the direct and inverse root systems of the split reductive algebra (gC,tC):(\mathfrak{g}_{\mathbf{C}},\mathfrak{t}_{\mathbf{C}}):

a) The canonical isomorphism from C⊗Γ(T)\mathbf{C}\otimes \Gamma (T) to tC\mathfrak{t}_{\mathbf{C}} induces a bijection from C⊗Γ(C(G)0)\mathbf{C}\otimes \Gamma (C(G)_0) to c\mathfrak{c} and a bijection from 1⊗R∨(G,T)1\otimes R^{\vee}(G,T) to 2πi.R∨(gC,tC)2\pi i.R^{\vee}(\mathfrak{g}_{\mathbf{C}},\mathfrak{t}_{\mathbf{C}}).

b) The canonical isomorphism from C⊗X(T)\mathbf{C}\otimes X(T) to the dual tC∗\mathfrak{t}^*_{\mathbf{C}} of tC\mathfrak{t}_{\mathbf{C}} induces a bijection from C⊗X(T/(T∩D(G)))\mathbf{C}\otimes X(T/(T\cap D(G))) to the orthogonal complement of tC∩D(g)C\mathfrak{t}_{\mathbf{C}}\cap \mathscr{D}(\mathfrak{g})_{\mathbf{C}}, and a bijection from 1⊗R(G,T)1\otimes R(G,T) to R(gC,tC)R(\mathfrak{g}_{\mathbf{C}},\mathfrak{t}_{\mathbf{C}}).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
