Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter IX, § 7. Irreducible representations of connected compact Lie groups

Assume that G is semi-simple; let dd be an integer. The set of classes of representations of G of dimension ≤d\leq d is finite.

Cor. 1b)1b) implies that the set XdX_d of elements λ\lambda of X++X_{++} such that d(λ)≤dd(\lambda )\leq d is finite. For all λ\lambda in XdX_d, let VλV_{\lambda} be an irreducible representation of highest weight λ\lambda; every representation of dimension ≤d\leq d is isomorphic to a direct sum ⨁λ∈XdVλnλ\bigoplus_{\lambda\in X_d}V^{n_{\lambda}}_{\lambda}, with nλ≤dn_{\lambda}\leq d, hence the corollary.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
