Topologie algébrique, chapter I, § 3. Faisceaux

Let B be a topological space and A a subspace of B. Let i:A→Bi: A\rightarrow B denote the canonical injection. For every sheaf G\mathscr{G} on B, let GA\mathscr{G}_A denote the sheaf i∗(G)i^*(\mathscr{G}), and say that GA\mathscr{G}_A is the sheaf on A induced by the sheaf G\mathscr{G}. The sheaf GA\mathscr{G}_A is identified with the sheaf S(A;(EG)A)\mathscr{S}(A; (E_{\mathscr{G}})_A) of sections of the étalé A-space induced by EGE_{\mathscr{G}} over A.

Suppose that A is an open subspace of B, and let G\mathscr{G} be a sheaf on B. By definition, the sheaf GA\mathscr{G}_A is the sheaf G~∣A\widetilde{\mathscr{G}}|A deduced from G~\widetilde{\mathscr{G}} by restriction to the open set A (I, p. 43). Let σG:G→G~\sigma_{\mathscr{G}}:\mathscr{G}\rightarrow \widetilde{\mathscr{G}} be the canonical isomorphism (I, p. 55, cor. 1). Then σG∣A\sigma_{\mathscr{G}}|A is an isomorphism, called canonical, of the sheaf G∣A\mathscr{G}|A onto the sheaf GA\mathscr{G}_A which is called the canonical isomorphism of G∣A\mathscr{G}|A onto GA\mathscr{G}_A.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
