Topologie algébrique, chapter III, § 2. Homotopie et chemins

Every open subset of a numerical space is locally path-connected.

Every point of R\mathbf{R} possesses a basis of neighbourhoods formed by intervals; consequently, R\mathbf{R} is locally path-connected. According to Proposition 9, the numerical space Rn\mathbf{R}^n is locally path-connected, for every integer n⩾1n\geqslant 1. Moreover, an open subset of a locally path-connected topological space is again path-connected, whence the corollary.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
