Topologie algébrique, chapter III, § 2. Homotopie et chemins

Let E be a totally ordered set. The set of open intervals of E (bounded or not) is stable under finite intersection. It is a basis of a topology T0(E)\mathscr{T}_0(E) on E (TG, I, p. 91, exerc. 5). The topology T0(I)\mathscr{T}_0(\mathbf{I}) is identical with the topology induced on I\mathbf{I} by that of R\mathbf{R}. It follows that, in prop. 16, every isomorphism of ordered sets of I\mathbf{I} onto E is a homeomorphism of I\mathbf{I} onto the topological space obtained by endowing E with the topology T0(E)\mathscr{T}_0(E).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
