Theory of Sets, chapter III, § 5. Properties of integers

Let aa, bb, b′b' be integers (resp. integers such that a>0a > 0). Then a+b=a+b′a + b = a + b' (resp. ab=ab′ab = ab') if and only if b=b′b = b'.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
