Theory of Sets, chapter II, § 4. Union and intersection of a family of sets

Let (Xι)ι∈I(\mathrm{X}_\iota)_{\iota \in \mathrm{I}} be a family of sets. The sum of this family is the union of the family of sets (Xι×{ι})ι∈I(\mathrm{X}_\iota \times \{\iota\})_{\iota \in \mathrm{I}}.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
