Commutative Algebra, chapter I, § 2. Flat modules

Let A, B be two commutative rings, p:A→Bp : A \to B a homomorphism such that B is a flat A-module and E an A-module. Then, for every finitely generated submodule F of E, the annihilator of F(B)F_{(B)} is the ideal aBaB of B, where a is the annihilator of F in A.

It suffices to apply Proposition 12 with E1=AE_1 = A, E2=E3=EE_2 = E_3 = E, F2=FF_2 = F, F3={0}F_3 = \{0\}.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
