Commutative Algebra, chapter II, § 1. Prime ideals

*Let a,b1,…,bna, b_1, \ldots, b_n be ideals of a ring AA. If aa is relatively prime to each of the bib_i (1≤i≤n1 \leq i \leq n), it is relatively prime to b1b2…bnb_1 b_2 \ldots b_n.

Let pp be a prime ideal of AA. If pp contains aa and b1b2…bnb_1 b_2 \ldots b_n it contains one of the bib_i (no. 1, Proposition 1), which is absurd since aa and bib_i are relatively prime.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
