Commutative Algebra, chapter II, § 1. Prime ideals

Let A\mathbf{A} be a ring, a1,a2,…,ana_1, a_2, \ldots, a_n ideals of A\mathbf{A} and pp a prime ideal of A\mathbf{A}. If pp contains the product a1a2…ana_1 a_2 \ldots a_n, it contains at least one of the aia_i.

Suppose in fact that pp contains none of the aia_i. For 1≤i≤n1 \leq i \leq n there exists then an element si∈ai∩ps_i \in a_i \cap p; then s=s1s2…sns = s_1 s_2 \ldots s_n is contained in a1a2…ana_1 a_2 \ldots a_n, and is not contained in pp, which is absurd.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
