Commutative Algebra, chapter II, § 2. Rings and modules of fractions

In a ring AA let aa be an ideal and bb a finitely generated ideal contained in the radical of aa. Then there exists an integer k>0k > 0 such that bk⊂ab^k \subset a.

Let (bi)1≤i≤n(b_i)_{1 \leq i \leq n} be a system of generators of bb. By hypothesis there exists an integer hh such that bih∈ab_i^h \in a for 1≤i≤n1 \leq i \leq n. If a product of nhnh elements, each of which is a linear combination of the bib_i with coefficients in AA, is expanded, each term is a multiple of a product of nhnh factors, each of which is equal to a bib_i; among these factors, at least hh have the same index ii for some ii, hence, the product belongs to aa and nhnh is the required integer kk.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
