Commutative Algebra, chapter II, § 2. Rings and modules of fractions

Let AA be a ring and SS a multiplicative subset of AA. (i) If MM and NN are two AA-modules and MM is finitely generated (resp. finitely presented), the canonical homomorphism (Chapter I, §2, no. 10, formula (10))

S−1Hom⁡A(M,N)→Hom⁡S−1A(S−1M,S−1N) S^{-1}\operatorname{Hom}_A(M, N) \to \operatorname{Hom}_{S^{-1}A}(S^{-1}M, S^{-1}N)

is injective (resp. bijective). (ii) If M′,N′M', N' are two S−1AS^{-1}A-modules, the canonical bijection

Hom⁡S−1A(M′,N′)→Hom⁡A(M′,N′) \operatorname{Hom}_{S^{-1}A}(M', N') \to \operatorname{Hom}_A(M', N')

is bijective.

As S−1AS^{-1}A is a flat AA-module, (i) is a particular case of Chapter I, §2, no. 10, Proposition 11. On the other hand, we have already remarked that every AA-homomorphism of S−1AS^{-1}A-modules is necessarily an S−1AS^{-1}A-homomorphism, in the course of proving Proposition 3 of no. 2; whence (ii).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
