Commutative Algebra, chapter II, § 3. Local rings. Passage from the local to the global

Let AA be a ring and pp a prime ideal of AA. The ring AA, is local; its maximal ideal is the ideal pAp=pvpA_p = p_v, generated by the canonical image of pp in AA; its residue field is canonically isomorphic to the field of fractions of A/pA/p.

Let S=A−pS = A - p and j:A→Avj : A \to A_v, be the canonical homomorphism; the hypothesis that pp is prime implies that pp is saturated with respect to SS, hence j−1(pAp)=pj^{-1}(pA_p) = p (§2§ 2, no. 4, Proposition 10) and, as the ideals of AA not meeting SS are those contained in pp, the first two assertions are special cases of §2§ 2, no. 5, Proposition 11 (ii). Moreover, iff is the canonical homomorphism A→A/pA \to A/p, f(S)f(S) is the set of elements ≠0\neq 0 of the integral domain A/pA/p and hence the last assertion is a special case of §2§ 2, no. 5, Proposition 11 (i).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
