Commutative Algebra, chapter II, § 4. Spectra of rings and supports of modules

Let XX be a topological space and EE a subspace with only ajinite number of distinct irreducible components QiQ_i (1≤i≤n1 \leq i \leq n); then the irreducible components of the closure E‾\overline{E} in XX are the closures Q‾i\overline{Q}_i of the QiQ_i (1≤i≤n1 \leq i \leq n) and Q‾i#Q‾j\overline{Q}_i \# \overline{Q}_j for i≠ji \neq j.

E‾\overline{E} is the union of the Q‾i\overline{Q}_i, which are irreducible (Proposition 2); as QiQ_i is closed in EE, Q‾i∩E=Qi\overline{Q}_i \cap E = Q_i; as Qi∉QjQ_i \notin Q_j for i≠ji \neq j, Q‾i∉Q‾j\overline{Q}_i \notin \overline{Q}_j, whence the corollary by virtue of Proposition 6.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
