Commutative Algebra, chapter II, § 4. Spectra of rings and supports of modules

Let AA be a ring and MM an AA-module. The set of prime ideals pp of AA such that Mp≠0M_p \neq 0 is called the support of MM and is denoted by Supp⁡(M)\operatorname{Supp}(M).

As every maximal ideal of AA is prime, it follows immediately from § 3, no. 3, Corollary 2 to Theorem 1, that for AA-module MM to be equal to 00, it is necessary and sufficient that Supp⁡(M)=∅\operatorname{Supp}(M) = \varnothing.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
