Commutative Algebra, chapter II, § 3. Local rings. Passage from the local to the global

Let MM be an A-module and, for all m∈Ωm \in \Omega, let fmf_m be the canonical mapping M→MmM \to M_m. The homomorphism x↦(fm(x))x \mapsto (f_m(x)) of MM to ∏m∈ΩMm\prod_{m \in \Omega} M_m is injective.

Applying Corollary 1 in the case N=0N = 0, it is seen that the relation x=0x = 0 is equivalent to fm(x)=0f_m(x) = 0 for all m∈Ωm \in \Omega.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
