Commutative Algebra, chapter III, § 3. m-adic topologies on Noetherian rings

Let AA be a Noetherian semi-local ring and rr its Jacobson radical. Then AA with the rr-adic topology is a Zariski ring. This will always be the topology in question (unless otherwise stated) when we consider a Noetherian semi-local ring as a topological ring.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
