Commutative Algebra, chapter III, § 5. Flatness properties of filtered modules

Let AA and BB be two commutative Noetherian rings, h:A→Bh : A \to B a ring homomorphism, 33 an ideal of AA and 22 an ideal of BB containing JB\mathfrak{J}B and contained in the Jacobson radical of BB. Let A^\hat{A} be the Hausdorff completion of AA with respect to the 33-adic topology and B^\hat{B} the Hausdorff completion of BB with respect to the 22-adic topology; hh is continuous with these topologies and h:A^→B^h : \hat{A} \to \hat{B} therefore makes 8\mathbf{8} into an A^\hat{A}-algebra. Let MM be a finitely generated BB-module and M^\hat{M} its Hausdorff completion with respect to the 22-adic topology; the following properties are equivalent: (a) MM is a flat AA-module. (b) M^\hat{M} is a flat AA-module. (c) M^\hat{M} is a flat A^\hat{A}-module.

As BB with the 22-adic topology is a Zariski ring, B^\hat{B} is a faithfully flat BB-module (§3§ 3, no. 5, Proposition 9) and MM is canonically isomorphic to M⊗BB^M \otimes_B \hat{B} (§3§ 3, no. 4, Theorem 3); it is immediately verified that this canonical isomorphism is an isomorphism of the AA-module structure on M^\hat{M} onto the AA-module structure on M⊗BB^M \otimes_B \hat{B} derived from that on MM. Applying Proposition 4 of Chapter I, §3§ 3, no. 2 with RR replaced by BB, SS by AA, EE by B^\hat{B}, FF by MM, we see that for MM to be a flat AA-module, it is necessary and sufficient that M^\hat{M} be a flat AA-module. Moreover, M^\hat{M} is a finitely generated B^\hat{B}-module and JB^\mathfrak{J} \hat{B} is contained in Q=QB^\mathfrak{Q} = \mathfrak{Q} \hat{B} and hence in the Jacobson radical of B^\hat{B} (§3§ 3, no. 4, Proposition 8); therefore M^\hat{M} is an ideally Hausdorff AA-module with respect to JA^\mathfrak{J} \hat{A} (Proposition 2). Conditions (b) and (c) are therefore equivalent by the Corollary to Proposition 3.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
