Commutative Algebra, chapter V, § 3. Finitely generated algebras over a field

Every finitely generated algebra AA over Z\mathbf{Z} is a Jacobson ring; for a prime ideal p⊂Ap \subset A to be maximal, it is necessary and sufficient that the ring A/pA/p be finite.

If the integral domain A/pA/p is finite, it is a field, as, for every u≠0u \neq 0 in A/pA/p, the mapping v↦uvv \mapsto uv of A/pA/p to itself is injective and hence bijective since A/pA/p is finite. Conversely, for every maximal ideal mm of AA, the inverse image of mm in AA is a maximal ideal (pp) and A/mA/m is finite over the prime field Z/(p)=Fp\mathbf{Z}/(p) = \mathbf{F}_p by Theorem 3.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
