Commutative Algebra, chapter VII, § 1. Krull domains

Let AA be a Krull domain and SS a multiplicative subset of AA not containing 00. Then the canonical homomorphism iˉ\bar{i} from C(A)C(A) to C(S−1A)C(S^{-1}A) is surjective. If further SS is generated by a family of elements pip_i such that the principal ideals ApiAp_i are all prime, then iˉ\bar{i} is bijective.

As a second application of formula (5), consider the following situation: let RR be a Krull domain; take AA to be the polynomial ring A=R[X]A = R[X] (no. 9, Proposition 13) and SS to be the set R−(0)R - (0) of non-zero constant polynomials of AA. The prime ideals pp of AA of height 1 such that p∩S≠∅p \cap S \neq \varnothing are those of the form p0Ap_0A, where p0p_0 is a prime ideal of RR of height 1 (no. 9, Remark). Hence, in the notation introduced above, GG is identified with D(R)D(R) by identifying divA(p0A)\mathrm{div}_A(p_0A) with divR(p0)\mathrm{div}_R(p_0). On the other hand G∩F(A)G \cap F(A) is identified with F(R)F(R): for if an ideal aa, of RR generates a principal ideal a0A=f(X)Aa_0A = f(X)A in A=R[X]A = R[X], then f(0)∈a0Af(0) \in a_0A since a0Aa_0A is a graded ideal of the ring AA (graded by the usual degree of polynomials) and hence f(0)∈af(0) \in a; further, for a∈a0Aa \in a_0A, a=f(X)g(X)a = f(X)g(X) where g(X)∈Rg(X) \in R, whence, comparing terms of degree 0, a=f(0)g(0)a = f(0)g(0); it follows that aa is the principal ideal of RR generated by f(0)f(0). Finally, denoting by KK the field of fractions of RR, S−1AS^{-1}A is identified with the polynomials ring K[X]K[X], which is a principal ideal domain; hence C(S−1A)=(0)C(S^{-1}A) = (0). Thus, by (5), C(A)=Ker(iˉ)C(A) = \mathrm{Ker}(\bar{i}) is identified with C(R)C(R) and we have proved the following result:

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
