Algebra, chapter I, § 3. Actions

If u(a1,…,ai−1,0,ai+1,…,an)=0u(a_1, \ldots, a_{i-1}, 0, a_{i+1}, \ldots, a_n) = 0 for i=1,2,…,ni = 1, 2, \ldots, n and aj∈Eja_j \in E_j (j≠ij \neq i), then formula (2) remains true for families (xi,λ)λ∈Li(x_i, \lambda)_{\lambda \in L_i} of finite support.

A special case of Definition 5 is that where uu is the law of action associated with the action of a set Ω\Omega on a magma EE. If uu is distributive with respect to the second variable, it is also said that the action of Ω\Omega on the magma EE is distributive. In other words:

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
