Algebra, chapter I, § 4. Groups and groups with operators

In a commutative group GG, written multiplicatively, (xy)n=xnyn(xy)^n=x^ny^n for all n∈Zn\in\mathbf{Z} (§ 2, no. 8, equation (1)); the action n↦(x↦xn)n\mapsto(x\mapsto x^n) of Z\mathbf{Z} on GG therefore defines, together with the group law, the structure of a group with operators on GG.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
