Algebra, chapter I, § 8. Rings

Let AA be a ring and aa a two-sided ideal of AA. (a) Every left (resp. right, two-sided) ideal of A/aA/a can be written uniquely in the form b/ab/a, where bb is a left (resp. right, two-sided) ideal of AA containing aa. (b) If bb is two-sided, the composite homomorphism A→A/a→(A/a)/(b/a)A \to A/a \to (A/a)/(b/a) defines when passing to the quotient an isomorphism of A/bA/b onto (A/a)/(b/a)(A/a)/(b/a).

It suffices to apply Proposition 5 to the canonical morphism of AA onto A/aA/a.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
