Algebra, chapter I, § 8. Rings

Let AA be a ring. A finite family (bi)i∈I(b_i)_{i \in I} of two-sided ideals of AA such that the canonical homomorphism of AA into ∏i∈I(A/bi)\prod_{i \in I} (A/b_i) is an isomorphism is called a direct decomposition of AA.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
