Algebra, chapter I, § 9. Fields

*Let A\mathbf{A} be a commutative ring and p\mathfrak{p} an ideal of A\mathbf{A}. The following conditions are equivalent: (a) the ring A/p\mathbf{A}/\mathfrak{p} is an integral domain; (b) A≠p\mathbf{A} \neq \mathfrak{p} and, if x∈A−px \in \mathbf{A} - \mathfrak{p} and y∈A−py \in \mathbf{A} - \mathfrak{p}, then xy∈A−pxy \in \mathbf{A} - \mathfrak{p}. (c) p\mathfrak{p} is the kernel of a homomorphism of A\mathbf{A} into a field.

The implications (c) ⇒ (b) ⇒ (a) are obvious. If A/pA/p is an integral domain, let ff be the canonical injection of A/pA/p into its field of fractions and gg the canonical homomorphism of AA onto A/pA/p; then pp is the kernel of f∘gf \circ g, whence the implication (a) ⇒ (c).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
