Algebra, chapter II, § 3. Tensor products

Let aa be a right ideal of AA, FF a left AA-module and aFaF the sub-Z\mathbf{Z}-module of FF generated by the elements of the form λx\lambda x, where λ∈a\lambda \in a and x∈Fx \in F. Then there is a canonical Z\mathbf{Z}-module isomorphism

(21)π:(A/a)⊗AF→F/aF(21)\quad \pi : (A/a) \otimes_A F \to F/aF

*such that, for all λˉ∈A/a\bar{\lambda} \in A/a and all x∈Fx \in F, π(λˉ⊗x)\pi(\bar{\lambda} \otimes x) is the class mod. aFaF of λx\lambda x, where λ∈λˉ\lambda \in \bar{\lambda}.

In particular, for A=ZA = \mathbf{Z}, it is seen that for every integer nn and every Z\mathbf{Z}-module FF, (Z/nZ)⊗ZF(\mathbf{Z}/n\mathbf{Z}) \otimes_{\mathbf{Z}} F is canonically identified with the quotient Z\mathbf{Z}-module F/nFF/nF.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
