Algebra, chapter II, § 6. Inverse and direct limits of modules

Let (Eα,fβα)(E_\alpha, f_{\beta\alpha}) be a direct system of right AαA_\alpha*-modules and let* Eα′=Eα⊗AαAE'_\alpha = E_\alpha \otimes_{A_\alpha} A be the AA*-module obtained by extending the ring of scalars to* A=lim⁡AαA = \lim A_\alpha by means of the canonical homomorphism ρα:Aα→A\rho_\alpha : A_\alpha \to A. Then (Eα′,fβα⊗1A)(E'_\alpha, f_{\beta\alpha} \otimes 1_A) is a direct system of right AA*-modules, whose direct limit is canonically isomorphic to lim⁡Eα\lim E_\alpha.

It suffices to apply Proposition 7 with FαF_\alpha the ring AA considered as an (Aα,A)(A_\alpha, A)-bimodule by means of ρα\rho_\alpha.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
