Algebra, chapter III, § 6. Symmetric algebras

The A-module Sn(M)S^n(M) is the image under isomorphism (10) of the submodule of ⨂λ∈LS(Mλ)\bigotimes_{\lambda \in L} S(M_\lambda) the direct sum of the submodules Sν(M)S^\nu(M) for all the families ν=(nλ)∈N(L)\nu = (n_\lambda) \in \mathbf{N}^{(L)} such that ∑λ∈Lnλ=n\sum_{\lambda \in L} n_\lambda = n; if JJ is the support of ν\nu, Sν(M)S^\nu(M) is canonically isomorphic to ⨂λ∈JSnλ(Mλ)\bigotimes_{\lambda \in J} S^{n_\lambda}(M_\lambda).

In general Sν(M)S^\nu(M), ⨂λ∈JSnλ(Mλ)\bigotimes_{\lambda \in J} S^{n_\lambda}(M_\lambda) and their image in Sn(M)S^n(M) are identified.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
