Algebra, chapter V, § 17. Regular extensions

— Let AA be an algebra over field KK which is an integral domain, and EE its field of fractions. Let LL be an extension of KK; if the ring L⊗KAL \otimes_K A is an integral domain the same is true of L⊗KEL \otimes_K E.

If L⊗KAL \otimes_K A is an integral domain, it may be embedded in its field of fractions FF. Write u(x)=x⊗1u(x) = x \otimes 1 for x∈Lx \in L and denote by vv the KK-homomorphism of EE into FF which extends the injective homomorphism y↦1⊗yy \mapsto 1 \otimes y of AA into FF. By Prop. 6 (V, p. 14) the subfields u(L)u(L) and v(E)v(E) of FF are linearly disjoint over KK; therefore the homomorphism u∗vu * v of L⊗KEL \otimes_K E into FF (V, p. 12) is injective. This shows L⊗KEL \otimes_K E to be an integral domain.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
