Algebra, VII, p. 8, § 2. Torsion modules over a principal ideal domain

Let M be a torsion module (II, p. 313) over an integral domain A. For every finite family (xi)1≤i≤n(x_i)_{1 \leq i \leq n} of elements of M, there exists an element γ≠0\gamma \neq 0 in A such that the xix_i all belong to M(γ)M(\gamma). Indeed, for each index i there exists an element αi≠0\alpha_i \neq 0 in A which annihilates xix_i, and the element γ=∏i=1nαi\gamma = \prod_{i=1}^n \alpha_i will fit the bill.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
