Topological Vector Spaces, chapter I, § 1. Topological vector spaces

If the spaces EiE_i are Hausdorff, then in order that T\mathscr{T} be Hausdorff, it is necessary and sufficient that, for every x≠0x \neq 0 in E, there should exist an index i∈Ii \in I, such that fi(x)≠0f_i(x) \neq 0.

For ϕ(E)\phi(E) is then a Hausdorff space, and in order that T\mathscr{T} be Hausdorff, it is evidently necessary and sufficient that ϕ\phi be injective; note that we can then identify E (with T\mathscr{T}) with the subspace ϕ(E)\phi(E) of ∏i∈IEi\prod_{i \in I} E_i by the mapping ϕ\phi.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
