Topological Vector Spaces, II, p. 8, § 2. Convex sets

The points of AA, a convex subset of an affine space EE are strictly on the same side of a hyperplane HH if, and only if, AA does not meet HH.

Clearly the condition is necessary. Conversely suppose that it is satisfied and let g(x)=0g(x) = 0, be an equation defining H (gg is an affine linear mapping of E in R\mathbf{R}). The set g(A)g(A) is convex in R\mathbf{R}, therefore it is an interval, and 0∉g(A)0 \notin g(A). Hence g(x)g(x) is of fixed sign for all x∈Ax \in A.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
