Topological Vector Spaces, chapter II, § 2. Convex sets

— For any subset A of E, the convex cone generated by A, is identical with the set of linear combinations ∑i∈Jλixi\sum_{i \in J} \lambda_i x_i, where (xi)i∈J(x_i)_{i \in J} is any finite non-empty family of points of A, and where λi>0\lambda_i > 0 for all i∈Ji \in J.

It is sufficient to see that, if a convex cone contains a point x≠0x \neq 0 of A then it also contains the half-line CxC_x of the points λx\lambda x where λ\lambda varies in the set of positive numbers and that CxC_x is a convex cone.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
