Topological Vector Spaces, chapter II, § 2. Convex sets

— If A is a convex set in E, then the convex cone generated by A is identical with C=⋃λ>0λAC = \bigcup_{\lambda > 0} \lambda A.

The set C is clearly a cone; it is sufficient to show that C is convex. Let λx,μy\lambda x, \mu y be two points of C (λ>0,μ>0,x∈A,y∈A\lambda > 0, \mu > 0, x \in A, y \in A). Let α,β\alpha, \beta be two numbers >0> 0 such that α+β=1\alpha + \beta = 1. Then αλx+βμy=(αλ+βμ)z\alpha \lambda x + \beta \mu y = (\alpha \lambda + \beta \mu) z, with z∈Az \in A, and αλ+βμ>0\alpha \lambda + \beta \mu > 0; hence αλx+βμy∈C\alpha \lambda x + \beta \mu y \in C.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
