Topological Vector Spaces, chapter III, § 4. The Banach-Steinhaus theorem

— Let (Fi)i∈I(F_i)_{i \in I} be a family of barrelled spaces, and for every i∈Ii \in I, let fif_i be a linear mapping from FiF_i into a vector space E. The space E with the finest locally convex topology for which the fif_i are continuous (II, p. 27, prop. 5), is a barrelled space.

Let T be a barrel in E. Since fif_i is continuous, fi−1(T)f_i^{-1}(T) is a convex, balanced, closed and absorbent set in FiF_i; in other words, a barrel in FiF_i; since FiF_i is barrelled, fi−1(T)f_i^{-1}(T) is a neighbourhood of 0 in FiF_i, for all i∈Ii \in I. This implies that T is a neighbourhood of 0 in E (II, p. 27, prop. 5).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
