Functions of a Real Variable, chapter V, § 1. COMPARISON OF FUNCTIONS ON A FILTERED SET

As the complex variable zz tends to 0 one has ez−1∼ze^z - 1 \sim z. More generally, if VV is a normed space over a valued field KK, and ff is a function defined on a neighbourhood of x0∈Kx_0 \in K, with values in VV, and admitting a derivative f′(x0)≠0f'(x_0) \neq 0 at the point x0x_0, then, as xx approaches x0x_0, we have f(x)−f(x0)∼f′(x0)(x−x0)f(x) - f(x_0) \sim f'(x_0)(x - x_0) (I, p. 3, def. 1).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
