Functions of a Real Variable, chapter V, § 2. ASYMPTOTIC EXPANSIONS

Let F be normed space; the family of functions ∥x−a∥α\|x-\mathbf{a}\|^\alpha (α\alpha an arbitrary real number) is a comparison scale when F\mathfrak{F} is the trace on the complement of a\mathbf{a} of the filter of neighbourhoods of this point. Note that if pp and qq are two distinct norms on F, the union of the two comparison scales (p(x−a))α(p(x-\mathbf{a}))^\alpha and (q(x−a))α(q(x-\mathbf{a}))^\alpha is not in general a comparison scale.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
