Functions of a Real Variable, chapter V, § 4. APPLICATION TO SERIES WITH POSITIVE TERMS

Let (un)(u_n) and (vn)(v_n) be two series with positive terms. If un≼vnu_n \preccurlyeq v_n and if the series (vn)(v_n) converges, then (un)(u_n) converges; if un≻vnu_n \succ v_n and if ∑n=1∞vn=+∞\sum_{n=1}^{\infty} v_n = +\infty, then ∑n=1∞un=+∞\sum_{n=1}^{\infty} u_n = +\infty.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
